Tuesday goes from Terrible to Terrffic!

This morning when I came to school I was really having a bad morning and simply wanted to crawl back into bed. I'm sure we've all had those days, right? But then as my students came, things started to get better. My 7th graders totally, brought me out of the fog and made my day a great one! Thanks guys!!

6th: Today we talked about how tree diagrams can be a useful tool when you are trying to list all outcomes for a particular event or set of events. We then moved into how the Fundamental Counting Principle is a short cut method for finding the number of outcomes and can be very useful especially when you have a large amount of choices. Students should complete Word Problems worksheets 9.2 and 9.3 for HW.
7th: Today in class we did another review of the coordinate plane and how to plot points. We will have a QUIZ tomorrow on this information. We also discussed how to transform a function rule into the graph of a function and took notes on the steps. Students should do Study Guide 4.6 for HW.
8th - 2nd Block: Today in class students turned in their lesson plans. They will begin teaching tomorrow.
8th - 4th Block: Today in class we began talking about interpreting data from graphs. We will cover Bar Graphs, Circle Graphs, Histograms and Scatterplots this week.
