Most of the time when I write these blogs I think no one is really reading them anyways and why do I waste my time, but then I'll hear from a desperate mother or child talking about how glad they were that this blog was there and I feel a little better. So for those of you who are actually taking your time to read this....I'm thankful for you!
Today in class....
6th and 7th: TEST!!! Results after the break, don't sweat it, but please do the extra credit tomorrow :)
8th -2nd Block: While some were out computer testing the others of us completed a brownie equation activity.
8th - 4th Block: We had an exciting discussion about why we should be thankful for our brains and for education and how a lack of education limits you. We also talked about how Americans in general have a distain for intellectualism and how many teens today think it's cooler to be uneducated than to be a "nerd". The class was challenged to think for themselves, not just conform to the thoughts of others.
Tomorrow I will be out of class, students will have an in class extra credit assignment. Everyone have a great Thanksgiving!!!!
